Receipt and journal printer

The cash register is equipped with two printers, a receipt printer which is used to print receipts for customers, and a journal printer which records all transactions as they happen on the till.

If there is a discrepancy at any time then the journal roll is used to go back and see if the discrepancy can be picked up.

It also serves as a backup in the event of the till failing. In this case you can at least do a manual cashup from the journal.

Changing paper is simple; Open the printer, drop the paper in, and close the printer.
