The Make Monitor was designed to fit into fast food kitchens where it is used as an alternative to a kitchen printer.
The Make Monitor has a number of advantages over a kitchen printer, namely :-
► Speeds up order preparation. Orders can appear on the monitor as they are being rung up. Kitchen printers will usually print only when the sale is finalised. An international 'fried chicken' chain uses this functionality to get orders to their walk-in customers in under 90 seconds.
► Easy to Read. Items/preps/toppings/voids/delivery address/server name can all be configured to print in different coloured fonts. Now it's easy to differentiate main items from preparation items. It's easy to see when a customers wants additional toppings on a pizza.
► Shuffle Orders. You can view all 98 orders on a single screen then shuffle orders that are to be delivered to the same suburb so they come out of the oven at the same time.
► Timed Orders. Now you can take an order on Wednesday for delivery on Saturday before the big game. The Make Monitor sounds an audible warning when the order has to be prepared, taking into account preparation time, cooking time and delivery time.
► Make-on-Demand Orders. When Burger King sell a burger on the POS terminal the order appears immediately on the Make Monitor so that a replacement can be made and fed down the chute so that optimum stock levels are always maintained.
